The Backflow Tester Refresher Training takes place the same week on Thursday and Friday, a 16 hour "refresher" course. This course allows experienced certified testers to refresh their knowledge and skills, before taking the re-certification test.  

Any "refreshing" attendee who wishes to attend all 40 hours must attend the Monday Session with the new students.

The Cross-Connection Control Specialist is needed by administrative authorities throughout North America to assure that Cross-Connection Control programs continue to protect the drinking water. Once a person has been trained, an examination protocol had to be developed to verify the applicant's knowledge that may be used to administer a Cross-Connection Control program in accordance with the need to know criteria. Cross connection enviromental offers this course in conjunction with the need to know criteria required by ABPA for successful completion of the cross connection control exam and as a cerfified specialist working in the field. This 40-hour course is designed to train students in the techniques for testing all gauge testable backflow assemblies. The class will include lecture, demonstration and practice testing on pressure vacuum breakers, double check valves, and the reduced pressure principle backflow prevention assemblies.
